The Event Spaces

The Sugar Mill – est. 1794

The Sugar Mill was built in 1794 amidst the West Indian sugar boom of the 18th Century. In pristine condition the circular two level space is perfect for creating unique and creative events. Holding up to 250 guests cocktail style using both levels, it also is perfect for a plated meal as well as a buffet dinner. The acoustics are wonderful in this small space and it is truly an interesting and vibrant event space with limitless possibilities for creativity

The Back Lawns - 200 Year Old Guango Tree

An extensive and flat lawn encompasses the back of the great house. Reminiscent of the extensive grounds of an old antebellum house form the south, the back garden can host up to 900 guests for cocktails and 600 seated. It is a beautiful and haunting space with ancient trees and lush gardens. At night the trees are up-lit to emphasize the magnificence and awesome beauty of the space. A picturesque view of the back of the house is the backdrop for this versatile and unique space.
